Meringue, located in La Crosse, WI, specializes in special event cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes, dessert tables, wedding favors, and other fine baked goods.  We believe in full circle baking that starts with the freshest local ingredients,and baking with love and skill to give each client a dessert to celebrate life’s most special milestones. 

Jen and Brian Barney dream of having a food certified kitchen space within their home.  Until then, Meringue makes all desserts using kitchen rental space out of Pogreba's Restaurant.  All weekly orders are picked up or delivered at mutual place and time arranged with each customer.  

Why local?  The second we made the commitment to always turn to local farmers first our quality improved by leaps.  By relying on our farmers, our friends, we are able to utilize produce picked the morning we need it. We are proud to live in farm country and we know the difference between fresh and when a dessert is made with care and integrity.
